About Open Product Compare
What this is
Open Product Compare is a free tool for browsing and comparing Australian financial products. It shows every product published by banks and non-bank lenders — home loans, savings accounts, credit cards, personal and business loans — with the rates, fees, features and eligibility criteria each provider publishes.
Non-bank lenders joined the Consumer Data Right in 2026, which means you can now compare a mortgage from a major bank against one from a digital lender or a car loan from a manufacturer’s finance arm — all from the same authoritative source.
Where the data comes from
Everything you see comes straight from public APIs mandated by Australia’s Consumer Data Right (CDR). The CDR Register lists every data holder, and each holder publishes its products at a standardised endpoint defined by the Consumer Data Standards. No accounts, no API keys, no scraping — just the same open data available to everyone.
Data is cached briefly for speed (the register for 24 hours, product data for 6 hours), so what you see is at most a few hours behind each provider.
What it isn’t
This is not financial advice, and it doesn’t rank, score or recommend products. Data holders occasionally publish incomplete or stale data, and some holders’ APIs are unreliable — when a provider’s API is down we say so rather than guessing. Always confirm details with the provider before making decisions.
Who’s behind this
Open Product Compare is built and maintained by Fiskil, an Australian company that builds Consumer Data Right infrastructure. We made this tool to show what the CDR’s open product data makes possible — especially now that non-bank lenders are part of it.
Fiskil doesn’t rank, score or recommend any product shown here, and there are no affiliate links — every number comes straight from the provider’s own published data.
