**Term Deposits**

Term Deposits allow you to lock away funds and earn a fixed interest rate for a set period, so you know exactly how much money you will earn. You can start with investing as little as $1,000. Term Deposits with terms of three, six or nine months automatically have interest paid at maturity. The interest may be paid to a savings account or reinvested. For terms of 12 months or longer, you can have interest paid to your savings account as regularly as fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually - it’s your choice!

| Term Deposit Withdrawal — When you request to withdraw part or all of your term deposit funds prior to the maturity date, the contracted interest will be paid to you on the amount withdrawn early, reflecting the proportion of the contracted term elapsed when the earned interest is paid to you.
